![]() ![]() ![]() She appears to be good at sewing, as she mended Tsuchida's apron and Koume's stuffed panda-cat doll's ear. She teaches the students of first-year Peach Class. Even though Tsuchida likes her, she does not understand that men would fall for her. ![]() Nanako Yamamoto ( 山本 菜々子, Yamamoto Nanako) Voiced by: Erino HazukiYamamoto-sensei is one of the female teachers at Hanamaru Kindergarten. He is nicknamed "breast man" because of his habit of looking at girl model magazines and often staring at Yamamoto-Sensei's chest. Tsuchida now has a crush on his colleague, Nanako Yamamoto. It is revealed in episode 7 of the anime, that he had a crush on Sakura when they were in high school. Anzu's mother, Sakura, called him Tsuchi when they were children (she still does), and so Anzu does as well. Anzu develops a crush on him, but, understandably, he does not reciprocate although he does like her as he does all of his students. He is a game otaku and plays games until late at night, often resulting in him being late for work at the kindergarten where he teaches the students of the first-year Sakura Class. At first, he is seen as unreliable, but as time passes, he gets the hang of being a teacher. Teachers Naozumi Tsuchida ( 土田 直純, Tsuchida Naozumi) Voiced by: Satoshi HinoTsuchida-sensei is the only male teacher at Hanamaru Kindergarten, who started teaching in the school immediately after he graduated. Though Anzu tries a hard attempt to convince to marry Tsuchida when she grows up (this is mentioned in episode 1 when Tsuchida saved her life), Tsuchida is trying to have a date with Yamamoto or if not, get engaged with her. However, he is clearly more interested in the pretty Yamamoto who supervises the class next door. Together they try to attract attention from their caretaker Tsuchida. I definitely think that if I watched this in 2010, I would compliment the Anime the same way that I am now.Anzu goes to a kindergarten with her friends, the shy Koume and the eccentric Hiiragi. ![]() Despite Hanamaru Youchien being 7 years old, I had a lot of fun watching it. I liked it because of the different point of view it provided the viewer who usually sees the Teenager point of view. Although the lead female kinder gardener was slightly forward in terms of her wishful relationship, what could have been perverted, was made so it just seemed like a joke. For the children, everyone showed a pure heart, and really gave a feel of real children and their emotions. All the characters were used to never get old. The background music helped the very light-hearted atmosphere of the show.įor the adults, they pulled out stereotypes and made a new standard for them. I was so excited every episode to see a new ending song, each with a laugh of its own. The vast amount of ending songs was almost the highlight of my week. This turned possible perversion, into a cute first crush. One key thing they did in this show was to make the children look unlike a real child and more into a cute lump of moving flesh. It brings out simplistic drawings and making them very cute. The animation for this show completely suits the light-hearted feel this show tries to convey. Those who don’t like too much happiness should stay clear of this show, and besides, who doesn’t like watching kindergarteners explore their school? Each side plot is filled with good jokes and a small moral lesson while maintaining a light-hearted feel in the show. Although some issues of this show tread on some people’s line of morality, it shows what a crush really is in its purest form in both of a child and an adult. So you look at the plot summary and think its just another show about a teacher and his students, however, this show is much more than that. So today, we’re going to be going through my review of Hanamaru Youchien and why I think you should watch it. The Anime has a 7.42 rating and is not all that well known. I thought it was really refreshing because you don’t really see Anime from the viewpoint of a kindergartener, rather most Anime have a teenaged to young adult cast.ĭespite coming out in the Winter of 2010 for a total of 12 episodes. Have you ever seen an Anime, whose cast is a bunch of kindergarten children and their adventures around the school? Me too – that all changed when I saw this Anime.įor reasons unknown to me, this was a very interesting but fun Anime. ![]()
